F32 BMW 4 Series Coupe Rendering (And Spyshots)

Since there will no longer be a 3 Series Coupe and Cabriolet, the BMW 4 Series Coupe and Cabriolet will be their natural successor. The BMW 4 Series may offer a range of different engine sizes not too dissimilar to the BMW 3 Series, however there is a chance that we may see a BMW 440i or 435i if technical upgrade is made to the Twin Power Turbo inline 6 from the 335i. BMW Luxury Ski Coach

The Hochzillertal ski area in Österreich of Austria will debut the first ever luxury ski coach made special by the BMW Individual with interior appointments inspired by the back seats of an F01 BMW 7 Series. Have a look after the jump for some photos and the official press release. 

If you are so privilege to live close to the Hochzillertal ski area or perhaps planning a ski trip in Austria there this winter, here are some details.

Exclusive packages for early risers and connoisseurs

Hochzillertal will in future offer its guests various possibilities to enjoy travelling in the exceptional cabin. "Premium Early Bird" will be offered daily at 8:00 am and 8:30 am for lovers of virgin pistes and fresh powder. Travel in the premium cabin includes exclusive parking spots, porter service, a crystal CD and a champagne reception. The EUR 150 price for two people includes two ski passes, a brunch and reserved water bed in the sun lounge at the Kristallhütte.

Those who want to sleep in will enjoy the "Premium Skitag" offer. Like the "Premium Early Bird" offer, this includes parking spots, porter service, a crystal CD and a trip in the VIP cabin. The ski passes are accompanied by lunch at the Wedelhütte with wine. This package costs EUR 190 for two people.

BMW Individual and LEITNER show how luxurious a ropeway can be


An ultra-modern SIGMA Diamond cabin from LEITNER ropeways for relaxed travel up the mountain. The interior is from BMW Individual - consisting of leather seats with a massage function and a multimedia system from the BMW 7-series limousine. Plus exceptional culinary offers at the Hochzillertal ski area with its 181 kilometers of pistes. The "BMW Individual for LEITNER" project presents what is probably the most exclusive way to experience the alpine world in winter.

Brown seats with both a massage function and heating, a cabin headlining of Alcantara Platinum and a leather covered front console and champagne glass and bottle holder fulfill all expectations of luxury. With a multimedia system operated directly from the BMW iDrive button in the middle armrest, a screen and excellent sound quality, the individually designed cabin exceeds all expectations. And shows once again that great comfort is perfectly compatible with functionality.

The exterior is a LEITNER ropeways Sigma Diamond cabin while the interior is furnished in the style and luxury of a BMW 7-series limousine. This collaborative project between the ropeway manufacturer from South Tyrol and the Bavarian automobile manufacturer will be next winter's main attraction in the Hochzillertal ski area.

November 2012 Dealership Expansion Phase 2 Update

A Letter from Town+Country BMW President Jim Cochrane: 

Last June I sent you an update on Phase 1 of our Building Expansion. Now I have more good news to report. 

As I write, Phase 2 is in full swing. Foundation work for our new Shop, Drive Thru and the expanded Parts 

Department is completed.  Our expectation is that all walls in these Phase 2 areas will be up and completely enclosed by mid-December.
Indeed, the entire T+C Shop should be completed by the end of April. Ready, in every way, to provide 

Customer Service with a growing list of innovations and BMW features. Ideas that will make your “coming and going” to Town+Country the most efficient BMW dealership experience of your life. After all, this new Shop will double Service Bay capacity.
 

You may remember that the completion of our expansion program includes major renovations to our Showroom with new ideas for our Customer Lounge, and Pre-Owned department. These last projects will get “legs” once the new Shop and Drive Thru are completed.

Diesel Luxury Shootout & Future of BMW Diesels in NA)

Model Year 2011 BMW has discontinued the E90 BMW 335d here in Canada, however BMW North America has announced that they would be rolling out the new turbo diesel engines this summer (a 180HP 4-Cylinder and 255HP 6-Cylinder), and now we see that BMW is planning 6 new diesel models for the North American market in 2013 and 2014. Taken from a slide during a BMW North American meeting gives us a clue as to the models coming down the pipeline. There are no official confirmation yet on the availability of these cars for the Canadian market, but for the time being this is promising.
