2008 Opel Agila: Rendering or Opel’s Geneva Concept?

We won’t sit and lie to you; we can’t say with certainty whether the offspring child of a Toyota Yaris and a Renault Modus you see here is a product of photoshop or a leaked image of the 2008 Opel Agila prototype. We discovered it at the Dutch site "Autotelegraaf" which supports that the image was taken at Opel’s plant and that they found it “wondering” around the net. We did a little web-snooping of our own and traced the photo back to a French Opel Corsa forum. This is what the people over at "Corsa-Passion" wrote about it (translated of course...): “According to our information, future Agila should resemble the photograph below. Sales should begin in January 2008”

Although the picture looks quite good for a rendering, if you notice there are few details that raise doubts about its authenticity like the "shady" areas under the front bumper and the rear door as well as the warped licence plate. If it does turn out though to be a prototype of the 2008 Agila, it could be the concept that Opel’s talking about unveiling at next week’s Geneva Show opening.
