8 Cool Movie Themed PC Case Mods…

If you have never modded anything or are thinking of customizing your own PC case, then take a look at these bad boys which are sure to inspire you for your own projects. All of these cases are custom made by individuals who are passionate about modding. From a hand-made Resident Evil inspired biological unit case to a rather realistic Wall-E case for Disney animation fans!

The Light Cycle Case Mod

A member from custom case modding forum ‘Cooler Master Forum’ created this case after being inspired by the latest Tron movie at the time.

The Hulk Case Mod

What is awesome about this case mod is the dangling cables as there is no need to hide them since they can become a great feature of the case itself, almost as if the Hulk is ripping it out of the ground! No idea why but this case took 14 months to make, however it is still awesome nonetheless!

Wall-E Case Mod

This easily has to be one of the best case mods out there. The fact that it looks as real as the actual Disney-Pixar character takes the points!

R2-D2 Case Mod

A modder by the name of Frenkie created this awesome PC case using a trash can along with some other tools and cutting wood to create the leg pieces. It set him back $150 and includes a built in webcam and speakers and in my opinion: totally worth it!

Tumbler Case Mod

Another awesome PC case by a modder on FusionMods.net who used a 1/6 scale RC Batmobile Tumbler from Walmart. He removed the original internals and made a custom aluminium plate to hold the chassis of the model. The Tumbler was then ready to be jammed with the important parts, which includes AMD Sempron 2800+, a 40 gig HD and 736 megs of DDR400 ram!

Iron Man Case Mod

This beautifully crafted, life-size Iron Man PC case mod is the best Iron Man themed creation so far! It was created by Alexandre Ferreira and took around 10 months to complete! The project was his alone and it cost him nearly $5,000 to build. The case uses materials such as PVC pipes and fiberglass in which the PC hardware is inserted!

Matrix Case Mod

Another modder from FusionMods.net, a user by the name of ‘TheGreatSatan’ created this simple yet awesome case on an old computer. You can tell that it was mostly done thanks to a model of ‘The Sentinel’ robot but what makes it better is that it spreads inside the case as if trying to escape!

Resident Evil Case Mod

residentevil_mod
This is probably the best PC case mod ever. Ron Lee Christianson spent nearly 3 years building this case by hand using special polystyrene as it handles the heat of the components rather well, seeing as this is build is going to house a high-end specification system!
