Autonomo is a fully autonomous vehicle designed for the year 2030 to overcome many of the major problems facing many of the world’s major cities like Los Angeles face today. Autonomo vehicles constantly synchronize the data it collects to build an understanding of citywide traffic conditions. Its centralized database is constantly updated and will be used to predict changes in transportation needs based on the conditions that affect traffic flow. Using archived data together with a constant flow of new data, this system will be able to continuously balance any anticipated mobility demands across the entire road network. Autonomo vehicles are designed to hold either up to 2 adults or 1 adult with extra space for luggage. Powering the Autonomo 2030 concept is an electric drivetrain. Underneath the nanoscale surface texture, the Autonomo will have 2 transparent photovoltaic layers that turn solar energy into electricity. It uses advanced lightweight batteries to store energy that is able to be wirelessly charged in minutes though electrodynamic induction or energy transfer lasers.
